ca. 1910's Large Celluloid Advertising Pocket Mirror, for Mitten-Nesbit Co., a General Store in Tekamah, Nebraska. This amazing ”Celluloid Pocket Mirror" is cream-colored with black letters. The pocket mirror is round in shape, and measures approximately 2-1/4 inches in diameter. This outstanding and quite unique, "Mitten-Nesbit Co. ad mirror" is in good condition, with some oxidation on the front surface, as well as a tear near the right-bottom. The mirror build into the back has some minor flaws as well. Please see all the photos above to confirm the condition of this pocket advertising mirror.

This amazing ”Celluloid Pocket Mirror" is cream-colored with black letters.  The pocket mirror is round in shape, and measures  approximately

At the beginning of the 20th Century it was not unusual for companies to look for a unique way to to advertise their business.   Trade cards were popular, some used such things as a bookmarks, postcard, dye-cut items, tins, trays and even toys. This pocket advertising mirror was a good example of that, and it remained popular for many years.
