THE BEGGAR by GORDON STEEDMAN & PHILIP SANDFORD BOONE. The Fifty-first Grove Play of the Bohemian Club of San Francisco as performed by its members in the Bohemian Grove, Sonoma County, California, on the twenty-eight night of July, 1956.
SIGNED and INSCRIBED by GORDON STEEDMAN on a blank prelim: "For Neil Stewart / The best of all clients who became so much more: a truly great friend / Gordon". There is a small bookplate label of Esther & Neil Stewart on the front pastedown.
Published by the Bohemian Club, San Francisco, 1956. Printed by the Grabhorn Press, San Francisco.
Hardcovers, cloth covered spine and illustrated paper covered boards, title printed on spine, 6x9 inches, 82 pages.
GOOD condition, the covers have some wear to the spine ends and corner tips, and are sunned at the spine; there is a small ownership label as noted above; otherwise just lightly used and still tight, bright, clean and unmarked.
