    Description

    From a recent estate sale is an old mounted photo captioned "Institution of Cort Olympic 66 Foresters of America Port Angeles, Wash. Oct. 5,1901". The photo is signed at the left for what looks to me like Leo. Wetzel. The Foresters of America was a fraternal and benevolent organization. The mounting board is about 8 1/2" by 10 1/2" and the actual photo is about 6" by 8". There are a couple of small holes at top and bottom edge of the board, there is moisture staining on the board, some soiling and black speckles on the board and the photo, and edge wear. There is a pencil notation on the back - hard to read but I think it is "Mr James Elmer ???? Port Angeles Clallam County Washington".
