    Description

This Ronson Tabourette table lighter is a stunning piece of art deco design from the late 1920s or ‘30s.
It has a slim design, classy grooves, and a triangular monogram shield engraved with a stylized ‘S’. It's figure 236 in the Urban Cummings Ronson lighter book.  In fact, it’s identical to the one on the left in the book’s photo.
It's US made in Newark, NJ probably in the late 1920s.  It measures 4.75 x 2.5 x 1.625 inches.
Looks great on a well-set dining room or coffee table and the cup-like handle makes it a breeze to use.
In addition to its aesthetic value, this lighter is in excellent working order, personally tested, and fully functional.  All you need to do is put in some Ronsonol lighter fluid and install the complementary Ronson flint.  No dents or cracks at all, but small scratches associated with wear and age - it's in excellent condition for a piece of its age.
This lighter is a great addition to any collection of Americana, tobacciana, or art deco items. It's also branded on the bottom with the Ronson name and is from the period of art deco design for which Ronson is world famous.
California prop 65 warning does not apply to this item.
